Studio 14’s La Petite Mort
The London Festival of Architecture is over and we are following it up with a drawing exhibition in July entitled La Petite Mort. We have invited Gordon Shrigley, Master of Drawing Studio 14 at Westminster University to take over the RIBA bookshop, and use it as an exhibition space to show the best examples of his student’s work over the past 3 years. The exhibition will also feature the work of Farrah Ashiela Samsuri, one of Shriegly’s most talented students. She has made a temporay hand drawing using the bookshop’s back wall as her working surface. The opening will be on Tuesday 1st July, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the RIBA Bookshop, 66 Portland Place London W1B 1AD. We hope to see you here on the night to have a drink with us. If you cannot make it, you can still see the exhibition until the 31st of July during the bookshop’s opening hours.
