WaTaD Magazine: Transient
TRANSIENT, the Spring issue of WTD magazine is out.
WaTaD is a young magazine (currently on it’s 5th issue) born in the Middle East, which looks mostly at the architecture, art and design relevant to that geographical part of the world. Their latest issue tackles the idea of transformation and impermanence prevalent in the life of increasing numbers of individuals. How does architecture respond to the necessities of those who are constantly on the move? Many of them dividing their time spent in jobs and personal lives between different cities, sometimes countries? This season, WaTaD sets out to explore what it means to exist in a transitional state and how architecture develops from that state of impermanence.
